Tell Me, Show Me, It Does Not Matter

Come, be honest with me.
We are strangers,
we can tell each other anything.
Tell me, show me, it does not matter.
We are the best parts of husband
and wife right now.
Tomorrow we'll be lost again,
but tonight give me your secrets.
Give me the things you do not speak of,
for fear that you are right;
I will set them aside so you
may look at them fairly,
and then leave.
Let them become a memory;
the faded feel of a cold night;
the rumored pain of someone else.

    1. Sorry, you actually just tried to order 12 buffalo wings. Not the worst of mistakes, mind you...
